HOCL, a multiunit Chemical Company known world over for its quality products is looking for promising, energetic young professionals with bright academic record to join the organization at its offices across the country and Production Units at Rasayani, Maharashtra & Kochi, Kerala as MANAGEMENT TRAINEES .
Eligibility: B.E/ B.Tech/M.Sc /MBA
The candidate should have obtained 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
Age Limit: Below 25 years as on 01.07.2008.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 8600-250-14600
Stipend: Rs. 15000/-

1. Management Trainee (Mechanical/Instrumentation/Civil/Fire and Safety) (12 nos.)
Qualification : BE/ B.Tech in the related subject.
2. Management Trainee (Computer) (2 nos.)
Qualification : BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology
3. Management Trainee (Personnel Management) (1 no.)
Qualification : MBA in Personnel Management or HR
4. Management Trainee (Finance) (6 nos.)
Qualification : MBA in Finance
5. Management Trainee (Marketing) (1 no.)
Qualification : Graduation in science & MBA in Marketing
How To Apply:
Eligible applicants would be required to apply online only through the link `Apply Online' on HOCL website: www.hoclkochi.com . No other mode of application shall be accepted. Before registering their applications on the website the candidates should possess the following:

b) (i) Demand draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs.400/- towards application fee & Rs.100/- towards processing
charges) for General and OBC Candidates .
(ii) Demand Draft of Rs.100/- (Processing Charges) incase of SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Non-refundable Demand Draft should be made in favour of Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited, payable at Ernakulam. No other mode of payment would be accepted.
The online registration site would be open from 1000 hours on 2nd August 2008 to 1700 hours on 16th August 2008.

3. After applying online, candidate is required to take a print out of the application form with unique registration number, space for photograph, signature and other details. In order to 'save' the data entered, applicant should click on the 'save' button and then print the Application Form. The envelope containing the original Application Form after affixing duly self-attested recent
photograph alongwith Demand Draft and a self attested copy of Caste/Physically Challenged Certificate (for reserved/PWD category only) superscribed with MT-2008 (Discipline) & GEN/OBC/SC/ST & Physically Challenged as the case may be, is to be sent, by POST to The Chief Personnel & Administration Manager, Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited, Ambalamugal : 682 302, Ernakulam Dist. Kerala so as to reach latest by 21st August 2008. Please do not staple the Demand Draft. Candidates must write their name, discipline and Application No. on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
The written test will be conducted on Sunday, 28th September 2008 at the following five cities:
1. New Delhi 2. Mumbai 3. Kolkata 4. Chennai 5. Kochi.
Candidates have to choose one of these cities as Test Centers and no change will be allowed subsequently and HOCL reserves the right to change any of the above mentioned test centres at itsdiscretion.
EMOLUMENTS
During the training period the Management Trainees will be paid consolidated stipend of Rs.15,000/- per month. Free accommodation will be provided in Company Township subject to availability and subsidised canteen facility will be given. Management Trainees will be eligible for medical facility for self and TA/DA as applicable to the Officers of the Company.
COMPENSATION BOND
In case the Management Trainee leaves before the completion of minimum required service period of 2 years the expenditure incurred will be recovered. If one person leaves within 6 months of regular placement a sum of Rs.1 lakh and pro-rata recovery at six monthly interval for the remaining period. An agreement to this effect has to be executed by the MTs before commencement of the training.
ABSORPTION & PLACEMENT
On successful completion of the training and depending upon their suitability to be adjudged by a selection committee, Management Trainees will be absorbed in the regular vacancies in the scale of pay of Rs.8600-250-14600.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
(a) Requests for change of mailing address, examination center / category / discipline as declared in the application, will not be entertained. However, HOCL reserves the right to cancel or add any centre depending on the response in that area/centre. (b) Registration slip should not have any enclosure except the Demand Draft and SC/ST/OBC/PWD certificate as applicable. (c) Only original Print out of the Application Form (no photocopy) shall be accepted. In case of any overwriting or tampering
of Registration slip, the candidature of the candidates shall be rejected. (d) Candidates should retain a photocopy of their Demand Draft and Application Form for future reference (e) HOCL will not be responsible for postal delay/loss. (f) The candidature of those candidates whose applications are received with more than one Demand Draft and/ or photocopies of Application Form/Demand Draft will be rejected. (g) Candidates in employment of Public Sector Undertaking/ Govt. service will be required to produce No Objection Certificate at the time of Group Discussion/interview. (h) Court of Jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Mumbai (i) Since the written test for the above positions are to be conducted on the same day, candidates should apply only for one position. (j) Wherever CGPA or Letter Grade in a degree is awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by University/Institute. (k) Candidates called for Group discussion/Interview will be paid to & fro 3 tier A/C rail fare or equivalent fare on production of receipts by the shortest route provided that the onward journey is beyond 50 KMs.

1. The number of posts indicated above may vary based on further assessment of requirement.
2. The final selection will be made from amongst the candidates who have qualified in the Written
Test, Group Discussion and Interview on the basis of merit and are declared medically fit as per
HOCL Rules.
